Celebrate Pride Month and Juneteenth with Pulitzer Prize winner Jericho Brown Saturday, June 19th at Hennepin Ave, United Methodist Church!
Jericho is the first black, gay poet to win the Pulitzer. His poems are noted for their “devastating genius” and his lyrics have been called “memorable, muscular, majestic…pushing toward life.” This special reading and audience conversation is a celebration of Black literary excellence and Queer identity. You will be transformed by this encounter with one of the fiercest advocates for love and life speaking to us now.
It’s our privilege to offer a special block of tickets to community partners in the arts, and remove barriers to attending this evening of soulful engagement and creative mastery!
