ULTC Presents Real Talk – VAX or NO VAX?  Fear and Resistance Among Black Folk

On Friday, September 10, 2021 Real Talk Moderator and Urban League Twin Cities President Steven Belton lead a distinguished panel in a discussion about how African-Americans are continuing to cope with the effects of COVID, and how the Delta variant is raising more debate among Black people about whether or not to get vaccinated. Giving their perspectives on this topic were Curt Boganey, Former City Manager for Brooklyn Center; Inari Mohammed, Epidemiologist for Minnesota Department of Health; Dr. Rahshana Price-Isuk, Director of Clinical Services for NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center; and Sharon Van Leer, At-Large Representative with the South Washington County School Board.
