ULTC Presents: REAL TALK – Top Black Cops Make the Case for Reform

Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo, Eagan Police Chief Roger New, and Ramsey County Commander Suwana Kirkland, President of the National Black Police Association – Minnesota Chapter held a lively discussion about policing in the post-George Floyd context.  Responding to questions raised by Real Talk Moderator and ULTC President & CEO Steven Belton and Zoom participants, they shared their perspectives on the “de-fund” movement and talked extensively about what it means to be Black and Blue.

On July 29, 2020 ULTC’s Workforce team held a Virtual Job Fair featuring four employers for the Southwest Light Rail Project. Job seekers were able to communicate directly with employers from Lunda/C.S.
