Cultural Competency Workshop: September 19 

The purpose of the Cultural Competency Workshop is to equip kinship caregivers, school professionals, case managers, social workers, and community partners with the knowledge, skills and cultural awareness needed to effectively support children and families.  

Through the Kinship Navigation program this workshop will explore the impact of historical trauma, systemic inequities, implicit bias, and culturally responsive practices on family engagement and child well being.
